Usha Tummala-Narra conducts research on mental health and trauma within immigrant communities, focusing her work on cultural competence in psychotherapy.听 A licensed psychologist, Tummala-Narra has lent her expertise to NPR, NBC News, Al Jazeera America and many other outlets. She currently serves on three editorial boards: the听Asian American Journal of Psychology听Psychoanalytic Psychology, and听Psychology of Men and Masculinity.
