My name is Jonah Renz, and I am a senior from Milton, Massachusetts. At BC, I am double majoring in Accounting and Business Analytics with a minor in Managing for Social Impact. In addition to serving as UGBC President, I was a First Year Experience Orientation Leader Coordinator, Men鈥檚 Basketball Manager, 48Hours Retreat Leader, Freshman League Captain, and involved in the Jenks Leadership Program!

I joined UGBC during the spring of my sophomore year because I had just experienced a really difficult semester, and I wanted to pursue a leadership opportunity that would allow me to create spaces to support students facing their own version of that struggle. My favorite part about UGBC is the passion within every single member to make a difference during their time at Boston College.

This year, I am looking forward to seeing the creative direction that all the divisions and committees take, particularly as we focus on the broader goals of creating community and leading through a social impact lens.

My name is Addie Weiss, and I am a senior from Green Bay, Wisconsin. At BC, I am majoring in Sociology with minors in Hispanic Studies and International Studies. In addition to serving as UGBC Vice President, I am involved with The Women鈥檚 Network, Ever2Excel, EagleBridge, and Campus Rec!

I joined UGBC my freshman year because I felt so grateful for the opportunity to go to such a great school, and I wanted to give back by advocating for students to have the best 4 years possible. My favorite part about UGBC is meeting people from every possible corner of campus and working together for a common goal.

This year, I am looking forward to making some progress on long-term Senate initiatives. I also can鈥檛 wait to see what service projects the divisions work on!

My name is Anna Ziegler, and I am a senior from Redondo Beach, California. At BC, I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Marketing. In addition to serving as UGBC Chief of Staff, I was a JSGA Representative, Mile 21 Student Planning Committee Member, and HR Community Engagement Steering Committee Member!

I joined the UGBC Communications Division the summer before my sophomore year because I was looking for a space on campus where I could form connections with other students while working toward a shared goal of improving our campus. My favorite part about UGBC is the community I have gained through its members. The people in this organization genuinely care about helping others, and I have found a second home in having the opportunity to collaborate with such passionate, hardworking individuals.

This year, I am looking forward to strengthening the internal development of UGBC through planning general body meetings and fostering a sense of shared community and purpose. I am also excited for some of my favorite UGBC events such as Outreach Day, Project Life, and ALC Showdown.

My name is Allie Lasch, and I am a senior from Albany, New York. At BC, I am double majoring in Economics and Political Science with a minor in Finance. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of Financial Affairs, I am involved in Intramural Volleyball and PULSE!

I joined UGBC at the beginning of my sophomore year, looking for community at BC. My favorite part about UGBC is the people I鈥檝e met and being able to see the events we put so much effort into come to fruition.

This year, I am looking forward to attending Showdown after being abroad for last year鈥檚.

My name is Freddy Osborne, and I am a senior from Fairfield, Connecticut. At BC, I am double majoring in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in Data Science. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of Communications, I am the BC Democrats President, a BC Symphony Orchestra violist, Ever to Excel mentor, Career Center Peer Career Coach, and EagleMUNC staffer!

I joined UGBC at the beginning of my sophomore year. I was looking for ways to get more involved in student life, and UGBC has given me a lot of great experience, but also allowed me to learn more about how BC functions. My favorite part about UGBC is being a part of the awesome work that the Communications Division does. Doing all of our event promotion, taking photos, and creating media, it is so much fun to show other students the great work that UGBC does.

This year, I am looking forward to having the opportunity to engage with students and all different kinds of student organizations through Outreach Day!

My name is Julia Covello, and I am a senior from Chatham, New Jersey. At BC, I am majoring in Biology with a minor in Finance. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of Student Initiatives, I am involved in Intramurals!

I joined UGBC at the beginning of my freshman year because throughout my life, I鈥檝e always found fulfillment in serving and giving back to the communities I鈥檓 a part of. Joining UGBC felt like the best way to make a meaningful impact, connect with others, and help create the kind of campus community I wanted to be a part of. My favorite part about UGBC is the opportunity to connect with my peers while planning events and initiatives that bring people together. I love being part of a team that creates meaningful experiences, both for our group and for the Boston College community as a whole.

This year, I am looking forward to Project Life and No Shame November. After studying abroad last fall and missing two of my favorite Student Initiatives events, I鈥檓 excited to experience them again and see the impact they have firsthand on the Boston College community.

My name is Ali Burns, and I am a senior from Cincinnati, Ohio. At BC, I am majoring in Economics with minors in Accounting for CPAs and Environmental Studies. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of E&S, I am the BC Dining Sustainability Manager and EcoPledge Social Chair!

I joined UGBC during the fall of my sophomore year because I was looking for a way to be involved in sustainability on campus in a way that felt impactful. My favorite part about UGBC is the community within the organization and the impact we鈥檙e able to have on the broader BC community.

This year, I am looking forward to our 5th Annual Eagles Sustainability Case Competition, expanding our campus collaborators, and all of the new events our division comes up with!

My name is Ayrion Gordon-Jackson, and I am a senior from Minneapolis, Minnesota. At BC, I am majoring in Political Science. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of ALC, I am involved in WZBC and am a Student Leader for Arrupe!

I joined UGBC my freshman fall, and I gravitated towards ALC because of its positioning as a unique advocacy branch that aids in furthering the cultivation of a culturally inclusive campus. (Plus, Showdown is really incredible!) My favorite part about UGBC is the energy of the organization. The passion that exudes from every member is admirable.

This year, I am looking forward to collaborating with the culture clubs on campus.

My name is Colin Snyder, and I am a senior from Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. At BC, I am majoring in English with a minor in Journalism. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of QLC, I am the Head of the Allston-Brighton section for The Gavel!

I joined UGBC in the fall of my junior year because the needs of BC鈥檚 queer community were not being met. I wanted to utilize skills I have gained from previous leadership positions to be a part of the change I wanted to see. My favorite part about UGBC is working to improve the BC experience for my peers and constituents. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with fellow UGBC representatives to work towards making student life the best it can possibly be.

This year, I am looking forward to improving collaboration, communication, and trust between the student body and QLC. I am excited to see where QLC鈥檚 commitment to collaboration and pledge to accountability brings us in this next year.

My name is Matthew Wleklinski, and I am a senior from Zionsville, Indiana. At BC, I am majoring in Biology with a minor in Management and Leadership. In addition to serving as UGBC Director of CSD, I am involved in the Student Alumni Association and the Residence Hall Association!

I joined UGBC my freshman year because I wanted to be able to use my voice and help others who may be struggling with similar experiences that I did. My favorite part about UGBC is the people.

This year, I am looking forward to the community that we will build within the group, both in the divisions and throughout the entire club.

My name is Emily Prucher, and I am a junior from Boston, Massachusetts. At BC, I am double majoring in Political Science and Economics. In addition to serving as UGBC Student Life Committee Chair, I am involved in The Common Tones of Boston College Acapella!

I joined UGBC my sophomore year so I could share my love for BC with everyone else and help make positive changes around campus. My favorite part about UGBC is seeing things we are working on come to life and seeing people utilizing the spaces that we create.

This year, I am looking forward to working with all of the senators on the Student Life Committee and seeing their initiatives come to life, from Athletics collaborations to BC Dining. I am excited to dive right in!

My name is Sophie Wong, and I am a junior from Taipei, Taiwan. At BC, I am double majoring in Political Science and Applied Psychology and Human Development with a minor in Finance. In addition to serving as UGBC Academic Affairs Committee Chair, I am involved in SOFC, APLSA, University Advancement, and was an Orientation Leader with FYE!

I joined UGBC in the spring of my freshman year, hoping to give back to the BC community while making sure international students have a voice on campus. Growing up between Taipei and Los Angeles shaped how I see the world, and I wanted to help create a more welcoming and connected campus for students from all backgrounds. My favorite part about UGBC is seeing how each division works on different initiatives, yet we鈥檙e all united by the same goal of improving the student experience at BC. It鈥檚 inspiring to collaborate with people who bring different perspectives but care deeply about making a meaningful impact on campus.

This year, I am looking forward to the International Global Fair at the beginning of the year. It鈥檚 a great opportunity to celebrate the various cultures of our campus, connect students from different backgrounds, and help new international students feel at home from the very start.

My name is Will Cortes and I am a sophomore from West Chester, Pennsylvania. At BC, I am majoring in Political Science and Economics. In addition to serving as UGBC Intersectionality Committee Chair, I am a student volunteer for APPA, I work in Office Management at SAP, and I am a Chair for EagleMUNC.

I joined UGBC my freshman year as a member of the Senate. I have always had a passion for helping others, whether that be teaching karate to kids aged 4-16,My name is Will Cortes, and I am a junior from West Chester, Pennsylvania. At BC, I am double majoring in Political Science and Economics with a minor in History. In addition to serving as UGBC Intersectionality Committee Chair, I am involved in Appalachian Volunteers (APPA), the Student Admissions Program (SAP), and was an Orientation Leader!

I joined UGBC my freshman year as a member of the Senate. I have always had a passion for helping others, whether that be teaching karate to kids aged 4-16, supporting my teammates in swimming (as well as coaching them), or even just giving my friends advice when they are struggling. As someone who cares deeply for servant leadership and government, UGBC provided the perfect avenue to allow me to continue to support and advocate for others. My favorite part about UGBC is the people. UGBC has connected me with so many other passionate leaders who bring inspiring experiences with them. Through meetings, I get to learn more from these people, as well as meet many clubs/organizations, professors, and administrators that I otherwise would not meet. I am truly grateful to be a part of this organization.

This year, I am looking forward to building on existing relationships with Residential Life, Messina College, the Montserrat Office, the Dean of Students, as well as extending those connections to the Thea Bowman AHANA+ Intercultural Center and the Pine Manor Institute to better support students on this campus. This would mean continuing the Montserrat Book Drive, Messina Buddy Program, and Reporting Magnets initiatives, as well as using new relationships to target more specific programming for students.
