We develop biomedical imaging and instrumentation to address unmet needs in global public health
Our research focuses on ultrasound imaging and explores the following key themes:
- AI/ML-based image analysis and user guidance
 - Instrumentation development
 - Human-centered design and innovation

To achieve our multi-disciplinary research goals, we partner closely with investigators at Boston College in the Connell School of Nursing, Department of Computer Science, , and the Global Public Health and the Common Good Program, as well as clinical collaborators at Brigham and Women鈥檚 Hospital / Harvard Medical School in Boston and Jimma University in Ethiopia.
