We seek applicants from a variety of personal, educational, and professional backgrounds. Our admissions team guides you through the application process, considering your experiences while assisting with questions and concerns.

No GRE required. We value your lived experience.
Boston College campus

A world-class research university just six miles from downtown Boston.

Master of Social Work

Full-time, part-time, Advanced Standing, or dual degrees. No GRE. There is no separate aid application for BCSSW.

Early: November 15 | Priority: January 15 | Regular: March 15 | Rolling

PhD Program

Fully funded—$250,000 over four years: tuition, stipend, health insurance, and conference support. 

Application Deadline: December 1 | Decisions: early February
